That little gay podcast from Singapore.
Recorded in a largely conservative country where same-sex sexual activity is illegal, The SG Boys is a safe space where all are welcome.
Colourful, earnest conversations on life lessons, pop culture and above all things, love.
Behind the Microphone
The SG Boys is hosted by Joshua Simon and Sam Jo, with another microphone always ready for other LGBTQ+ voices.
Joshua Simon

Joshua spearheaded The SG Boys podcast to create a platform for gay stories in Singapore.
Outside of co-hosting the podcast, he is a radio presenter in Singapore, known for his interviews with the world’s biggest stars, from Katy Perry to Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds. Joshua’s interviews have crossed millions of views on YouTube.
He is also an independent singer-songwriter whose debut album, titled Filthy, was hailed ‘one of the best albums to come out of Singapore' by music publication Bandwagon Asia.
Sam Jo
A media professional by day and a karaoke veteran by night, Sam Jo is a seasoned writer, content creator, emcee and entertainer whom you can often hear from a mile away.
The former journalist once fronted the popular video channel Stirr and co-hosted the award-winning pop culture podcast #PopVultures.
As co-host of The SG Boys, Sam Jo brings to the table a vested interest in ageism, cultural differences, body positivity and other intersectionalities surrounding the queer Asian experience. He believes in the power, beauty and universality of LGBTQ+ stories and hopes that this podcast can amplify and celebrate these voices.
